Sara Skinner-Probst and two puppet friends                                                                   Back to Kids' View
Sara Skinner-Probst
University of Hawaii M.F.A. candidate in Children's Theatre Sara Skinner-Probst wrote the educational materials for When the Cassowary Pooped, A Tale of New Guinea. In addition to her considerable teaching skills, Sara is a talented professional puppeteer whose shows are especially popular with pre-schoolers and beginning readers. Sara created puppets for a show adapted from our book TiQri, The Little Snow Fox, A Tale of the North Pacific, which she presented at the 2009 Hawaii Book and Music Festival in May. The show was a huge hit with the Festival's younger attendees, their parents and grandparents.
